Most of those are very good, and all seem to stem from 1950s Swiss typographic designs like those of Armin Hofman, except for this one. This one is actually pretty bad because of how centered it is. The negative space (all of the blank spots) is all diffuse and scattered, and it's really boring to look at. A good design uses negative space at least as strongly (and usually more so --- look at your first example) as the objects themselves. In general, centering things is a great way to make them look boring and is generally lazy or uninformed design. There are also little flourishes (like the smaller words) that don't really add to the design, and seem arbitrary. --Andre
