People from corporate should take note and start sending me coupons with my fucking catalogs so I start spending money at J Crew I've gotten six or seven catalogs but not one coupon with any of them.

anyone got a coupon code for 20% til sept 5 they are not using? =]

Just got an email from them saying if you open up a J.Crew card you can save 20% on your first purchase, plus $25 everytime you spend over $500. It used to only be a savings of 10% IIRC. Bought a Ludlow suit that hasn't shipped yet so probably going to get a card and apply it to the purchase. wont use it for anything else but J.Crew stuff anyway..

I bought a pair of those suede sperry's from jcrew last month, how do I keep them in good condition?
I'm concerned about getting them wet but this post implies that it's not something to really worry about. I was going to hit them with some of that suede protector spray... too much, too little?

i have those too. just spray them with suede protectant. mine are still good after three months.

yea im actually wearing mine right now.. ive had them for about 6 months.. they look a bit more dry now then when i got them.. but i like it. i rub them with my hands a lot too out of habit so they have some more oiled looking spots that i think actually look cool.. i never sprayed them but they are nubuck so they are more durable than suede. i just try to keep them out of the rain..

How long do you want your shoes to last? I wear my shoes, I don't clean them or anything, and when they are worn out, I get a new pair. Works for me...

I do this with cheaper shoes. But for shoes that cost, say $300 and up, I will have a hard time doing so.

I usually get my shoes used on ebay, so I really don't need to worry about it.

yep. but there's no harm in trying to keep them looking nicer for longer.

Do any of you have the winterbrook plaid flannel? I'd like to see pics of it.
