waiting for the olive cadet jacket to go on sale...
stopped into a store in Milwaukee today and they had some faded black fatigue jackets in stock and I was able to get it for the $99 sale price after a sales person called in to check the pricing since it was still tagged normally. Nice jacket for the price, especially at $99. Cut is a little weird in that the medium has plenty of room in the chest and shoulders but is really snug on my hips at the bottom. I'll probably just button it rather then zipping it in most cases so it won't be an issue.

Got to check out the Langham jacket as well, which was nice but didn't really wow me. Also tried the cadet jacket and was surprised how light weight it is compared to the fatigue jacket...it was so like the display coats had the sleeves rolled up on them like a shirt....werid. Didn't care for it too much, something in between that and the fatigue both in weight and length would really be ideal.

Just picked up this jacket from J.Crew http://www.jcrew.com/mens_category/o...0876/90876.jsp

Got lucky basically... It's in the army green color and It's cool as hell.

any reviews on Jcrew straight leg jeans? u guys may hate my choice in denim, but the best fit and style I ever had was martin and osa stright leg.

Hows the quality? does it shrink or get looser? sized big or small?

thanks, sorry this may be posted, but the thread is huge and I cant read through all of it.

The oxford they used on the sunwashed ones from last season was a little flimsy, but I dig the cut and the flap pocket is a nice touch.

FYI, Brooks Brothers has a very similar OCBD in their new "Back to Campus" fall collection, in an extra-slim fit.. It even has the button on the back of the collar, and due to it being extra-slim fit, it is probably as slim or slimmer than the J. Crew version. Only difference is it seems to be less washed. (LINK)

Just from looking at it (without measurements), I'm thinking it'll be too long to be worn un-tucked like other Brooks Brothers shirts.

BTW, does anyone know how J. Crew's oxfords fit in comparison to their Secret Wash shirts? I've heard that their Secret Wash shirts are the slimmest, yet they're still pretty big.

no, tried on this and other shirts today. it's pretty awesome both ways, and quite slim. the small has about a 14.5/15 neck and 32/33 sleeves, i could tuck it in and wear it untucked, it seems to be around 28-28.5 in length.
