Sherman Oaks and Topanga is a bit sparse on sales stuff.

Palo Alto / Stanford store has a decent sale going and when you add the additional 30% off it comes out to about $21 for flannel shirts and a bunch of other shirts, lots of sweaters (l, xl) were about $14 after the 30%. Limited pants though.

The store by me had 30% off on sale items today as well. I saw the alpaca cardigan that others were talking about, but the one that was left was a bit too big on me. I ended up grabbing a pair of slim fit chinos and a black chamois shirt for $30.

I was able to grab these before they went out of stock...the color is pretty accurate to what was shown online.

I'll try to remember to snap a photo later.

They put a bunch more stuff up online on their sale. Some of it is their final sale.

Scooped up the Woodland Jacket, and Anchorage shawl-collar cardigan. I've missed out on the Woodland Jacket a couple times, and I couldn't pass it up this morning. Tried to get it and some other stuff from my local store, but they were all sold out.

Does anyone have the Woodland Jacket? Thoughts on it??

I tried it on and liked it. Personally, I think it's worth it to save for a Barbour. They have a hood/liner option and are better-made, imho. And just have a more classic style/recognition.

However, I got their plaid langham wool jacket for $100 (from $275) on final sale about 6 weeks ago at my local store, so a good deal on a jacket is always worth it. Save that $300 for some other fun stuff.

Also, they have their oilcloth langham jacket still there in a medium on final sale. Get it while it's hot! As I just mentioned, I have the plaid one and really like it.

There are some great deals to be had in stores. I got the chamois shirt for $14.60. Few other things I'd like to grab if the stock was better...

Bowery classic & Bowery urban slim fit -- last week they were not on sale. They seem to keep these in stock year round and don't mark them down, except for an occassional promotion -- which I have yet to catch (I've picked up three of the Bowery classics over the last year or so, all at full price, and they are fine chino-work-type pants).

I think the picture was pretty accurate, but I'll try to take a picture later today. Ive been wearing these pants every other day with all the snow we've been getting in the midwest.

Can anyone tell me if the plaid langham jackets run a little big. I'm normally a medium but was able to fit the field mech jacket in a small.

sorry to give contradicting opinions, but I had to size down from my normal size (small) to an extra small. I wouldn't say it runs big as much as it runs really long... for ref: 5'6+ 36 chest 130 lbs xs still fits a little bit long, small just fit like a freaking overcoat. i have the non plaid, pm me if you want fit pics.

Does anyone know if the suede shearling-lined MacAlister boots are sold out in stores & by red phone order as well? I can make it to any J.Crew store in NYC. Currently all they have online are insanely small sizes.

If they happen to be sold out does anyone know any similarly styled boots? Lined desert boots perhaps? Although, they'd probably be really slippery in the snow..
