Obviously not all the pics are dirty, and I wasn't even talking about just that one disgusting bike pic. It just seemed dirtier than I thought it would. Not that I still wouldn't want to go there.

Chicago really isn't that clean. Certain sections are very clean, but overall the city is kind of dirty and there are many parts where it is downright disgusting.

You should try to if you ever get back to the States. Chicago is an awesome city.

I´ve been to Amsterdam about two years ago and honestly, the most interesting part of the city is the airport... And maybe the public transportation system. I don´t really know what are all the tourists attracted to.
Photos are nice, though.

...wait. Street toilet? Someone explain this to me. Is it just a grate with a privacy barrier? Where does your piss go? FYI, this is a "Seattle street toilet" This link details the failure of the $5million mistake that was the Seattle Space Toilet ("self cleaning" junkie shelter) http://seattletimes.nwsource.com/htm...oilets20m.html

Seattle's $5 million experiment with high-tech toilets is over. The City Council decided Monday to remove all five of the public restrooms, saying the silver cylinders became a hideout for illegal drug use and prostitution. "It has taken the unseemly behavior out of shadows of the alleys and put them under the glare of the public toilets," said Councilmember Nick Licata, who voted in 2001 to install the restrooms and now wants them removed.
