Wedding Gift Ideas for Bride?

My fiancee and I are getting married at a resort in the Dominican Republic soon and while we agreed to not exchange wedding gifts, I'd still like to get or do something small for her...with more of an emphasis on sentiment and/or experience than monetary worth.

Do you guys have any good ideas? I was originally thinking of bringing a bottle of champagne down with us (something better than the usual AI resort fare) and arranging for rose petals and/or candles in the room for the evening of...but I'm certainly open to anything more original...or anything useful that she could use on the trip.

I'm trying to think of a real suggestion, but all I'm coming up with are jokes. Sorry, bro. :P

Btw it doesn't help that we know absolutely nothing about your fiance...

Yeah, I should have mentioned that I have the night taken care of just fine up front.

True. She's mid-20s, an artist (photographer and curator), more edgy than refined (though still appreciates some feminine things), and a huge art/music/literature/fashion nerd.

Jewelry is out. We're trying to keep the budget relatively low and she specifically mentioned a while back that she didn't want any for that reason (otherwise I'd already have a necklace from the same designer that made our rings for her).

Lingerie is also out since I know (though I'm not supposed to) that she picked some up herself.

It will be a great gift for the bride, especially if your budget is not high. Right from toe rings to anklets to earring to neck chains, you will get anything and everything that you desire. hope this helps you.

Now if only I knew somewhere I could get gold jewelry

How about a spa treatment if she's not getting one already?

The resort we're going to has a spa so we're both already going.

I'm going to write a letter to her the night before we leave and mail it to her so it's waiting for her when we get back...something that describes how I feel pre-wedding that she gets to read once we're back home and married.

I'd still like something for on the trip, though.

Then I started thinking about that ben stiller movie where he goes to a tropical island for his honeymoon with his new wife and she fucks a nudist scuba instructor.

Tiffany pen. It comes in the blue box so it's a bit like jewelery, but it's useful and would fit into her nerdy agenda.
