Do these run relatively true to size? If I got a size 39, would it fit like a size 39 Puma sneaker?

I really like their boat shoes. I bought them in a 44, and that is my usual shoe size.

NDC are generally considered the best of the mid-tier brands (certainly above F+B and a little better or at par with Buttero)

I agree. I recently bought a pair of their boat shoes and they are excellent. I bought a 44 and usually wear a 11.5 in sneakers, the 44 fits near perfect without socks.

The sizing is kind of all over the place to be honest. I have owned / tried on about a half dozen models, some have fit a bit narrower than sized, some bigger than sized, some TTS. My verdict is it's a crapshoot, but ymmv. As far as the shoes go styling wise, they're also hit and miss (though less misses than Paul Smith) but if you get the right ones they're awesome.

I ordered a pair from Yoox on their last day of sale (March 31st). Still waiting for them to arrive. They were at a fair price (98 euros) and Yoox kept adding discounted models (returns?) at the end of last month. If you're patient, you can find them on discount at Yoox in a few weeks.

I tried a few pairs in Italy recently and they were TTS, but a bit ellongated and narrow. Some of their models look ridicoulous in the photos, but more normal in real life.

I have a pair I really love. Got them at 50% off so it was really worth it.

Those would be fantastic with some waxed flat black laces ^

Kind of like what I see of N.D.C so I might give them a go, especially since they do some nice grey / black derbies and plain toes.

Those boots look amazing, and for 50 off... can't go wrong!

I usually wear an 8-8.5, and I wear a 41 in my 1 pair of NDC shoes.

where did you buy them? these are nice, but $305 is a bit much for boat shoes.

I agree, I wouldn't spend that much. I bought mine a couple of years ago at Zappo's of all places. I seem to recall that they were on sale for like $150. Retail at the time was in the upper $200s.

I haven't seen the color that you posted before -- it's nice. Mine are just like that, but in a medium brown color. I've also seen them in a very light tan (or off-white) and in bright/vivid colors like red, orange, and blue.
