Connery pushes the masseuse out of the scene by slapping her on the ass and saying "Man talk".

--------------

Or do men just become wussies after marriage with no pre nup?

Much as I love James Bond--and that scene--I have to say that in *real* life, I'm glad that such chauvinism has gone largely the way of those high-waisted swim trunks....

Look at his posture and could his gaze be any more evident as to what he wanted. Behavior like that today would not be tollerated for one would be slapped silly. I don't think men are wussies. We just regard our equals with more dignity than before. In regards to the bathing suit, well, I'm still waiting for my six pack to arrive. Best Regards, Gary

According to this NY Times article, women are outranking men in college attendence, grades and graduation rates. It's only a matter of time they'll outrank men in earning powers. There will be more stay-at-home-dads, house-husbands or whatever you want to call them.

Gotta say - the whole appeal of James Bond is that nobody actually lives like that. It's the same with my new favorite show, Entourage.

I doubt men are actually anymore "wussy" than they've ever been in real life but you can't compare real life to a movie.

First it was "how do you discipline your wife/girlfriend", now this.

I think this obsession with asserting "mastery" over women reveals some insecurity.

Reenacted in modern times by Tucker Max.
