First, the whole thread is a joke from the start. Second, my score of 101 is just slightly above the average score (100 is average, 50 is the lowest and 150 is the highest). Therefore, there is no way I was trying to "show off". It was also a probe to see if anyone else here took the MPRE and could breathe a sigh of relief with me at having passed yet another hurdle.

Take a chill pill (remember that cool phrase from the 90's?).

For the uninitiated: The MPRE is the ethics portion of the bar exam. It is a joke and the vast majority pass. Passing score is 80-86 depending on your jurisdiction. So any score higher than an 86 shows that you cared too much and wasted time studying for it.

Oh well.

Congratulations. You're now officially too ethical to be a plaintiffs' lawyer.

I failed the MPRE by 1 point the first time I took it w/o really studying (the test is given nationwide, NY requires a relatively high score by comparison, I would have passed in most other states). In any event I laugh about it, studied for 2 days the second time and passed easily. . . then had awesome pumpkin pie filled french toast.

Good post, totally saved the thread by describing pumpkin pie french toast.

All law students want to know, was there whip cream?
