The future is bright at The Ted!

But strangely enough he won't have as good of a season as Garrett Jones of the Pirates. That's the NL ROY boys.

You think? Jones is a lot older, right? I suppose that could help him if the pressure starts to build, but Heyward has just dazzled people. Admittedly, I don't follow the Pirates, so I haven't heard anything about Jones. But people, both in the Atlanta and national media, have been talking about Heyward like he's a god among men.

Oh, no slight to Heyward, he's going to be a star. Baseball America had in number 1 in their rankings of prospects, but I think people are going to be looking out for him. No 10 & 5 guy is going to want to kick rocked by the hot new kid on the block. Jones flies under the radar and plays for a crap team. Although the Pirates are starting to look good.

My Tigers started out on the right side of the Win/Loss column yesterday... too bad we cannot face the KC bullpen everyday though.

Mariners are in a tie for first place.

I would think you'd want them on the left side of the win/loss column.

Now if they can only win 161 more they're set...to collapse in the ALCS.

Shit, we won 116 games in 2001 and didn't even make it out of the first round...
but we had no pitching.

I was thinking about that as I posted that.

I guess we are on the "correct" or "favorable" side of the win/loss column

Ah yes, Jones & Wieters homer on opening day for the O's. All we need now is a left fielder with an arm.

....and like usual, the O's bullpen blows it.
