Opening Day

The baseball season is under way!

Now, why the hell is the Dodgers opening day game today on at 10:35 AM PST? I'm in my office trying to figure out how I can watch this. ESPN is playing a different game so I can't watch it on my phone. So now I'm trying to find a live feed somewhere in internet land. As a last resort, I'll have to find the local radio feed, if that is even online.

Ahhh, so happy I don't live in Wrigleyville this season.

Opening Day in Baltimore is about as exciting as moving into a new apartment... at hospice.

It will be good this year, lots o' optimism. Also, I finally went down to Matthew's for some pizza the other day. It was great, I had the crab pizza. They need a larger location though.

My optimism died about 3 years ago.

Matthew's is awesome. Love that crab pizza. I haven't had it in years though b/c my ex used to live very close by and we went frequently; my baby momma refuses to go to some place where I used to hang out with an ex.

J-Hey hits a three run homer in his first big league at-bat.

The future is bright at The Ted!

I know I'm stating the obvious, but Heyward is going to be a fucking BEAST. The NL East just keeps getting more stacked with stars. As a Marlins fan it's nice to actually look forward to a few seasons where our stars (Han-Ramirez, Johnson) will be locked up going forward.

Was a beautiful day at the Nats home opener. I probably would have said that even if it had been raining, b/c the Phils won 11-1.

He really is going to be ridiculous. I just hope he keeps it all together - he's going to be under A LOT of pressure in the next few years, and I hope he doesn't become the next Frenchy. The AJC had an article on how he is taking it all in stride, so maybe that's a sign he can handle it.

Roy Halladay vs. John Lannan. The Nats started off with a lot of promise, then Howard.

I like that pitcher for SF who molded his look from Mitch Kramer in "Dazed and Confused".
