I feel like Mariah Carey's entire career has been in bad taste- but the number one offender IMO is what she did to the Tom Tom Club's "Genius of Love." I feel like it cuts to the heart of what is wrong with the westren world's culture when a classless pop star profits on the mutilation of a delightful groove.
