if so, tried this on yesterday and it is a Killer.
Agree though - even at $2.5K, 'that's a wedge'.

yes . the 3 piece prince of wale suit highlighted in the rlpl section currently at the rodeo drive polo. it is a silk blend? didnt know that. im not a fan of silk blend unless it is like minimum .

a few more months and they get down to 1000 ? i dont frequent the polo store often but is this true? i didnt know the polo stores would get them down to that low.

the sa said they already sold a few. meaning there are people who buy them at full retail. dont they know that if they just waited a few months they can still get it for half off at least? and still without any competition for their size? i dont get it. are these guys oblivious to any sale info?

well, first off, their sizes maybe out. When you are talking about sales,it is never full inventory and if someone has $5K to throw on a suit,it is not a big deal for them. We've chewed this over and over already.
That said, I have seen purple label suits priced down to 1,000-1,250 in the past so if they don't move, they will eventually come down.

On another note, does the sale start today or is it on Thursday?

Starts Thursday. I read the card and the kicker applies to one transaction only anytime from the 29th to the 5th. Most of the exclusions are for antiques, watches, artwork, exotics, MTM, etc., not clothing lines.

It would probably make sense had I been looking at an April rather than May calendar =)

I just walked into the Sf store and ordered the Darltons. They said they would honor the private sale discount since I knew about it, and they weren't going to pass up a commission.

$473+tax...pick up Thursday.

Anyone know where I can check out RRL bags online?

That was an option. My size is coming from the East Coast, so I said I would just wait until I pick it up.
