Read the book. David Peace is a genius. Film's good but a bit lightweight compared to the book.

Yes, they did have subsequent altercations I believe and I seem to recall that Norman "bite your legs" Hunter came off worse. I certainly hope so!

Michael Sheen is brilliant in this film. He's got Cloughie down cold. But the acting is very fine from all the cast.

If you like football, this film is a must.

For what it's worth, this was one of my favorite movies of 2009 despite my hatred for sports dramas. Perhaps it's the country of origin--or Michael Sheen. Afterward, I watched Nixon:Frost and The Queen to much satisfaction.
