old man needs help, what is the diff between faux hawk and bed head?

my 8 year old nephew keeps cutting his hair by himself. he keeps saying he wants these styles. i'm taking him to the barber or the salon tom. what are they and what should i tell them? the hawk i sorta get (it's one of those haircuts beckham had right?) but what does bed head look like? pictures please!

Bedhead is really just hair that looks messy (it's also a hair product line). Like one's hair looks when one gets out of bed in the morning except that it's styled that way purposely.
