Thankfully they aren't, but the cast looks awesome. They even have Dolph Lundgren in there! Nobody makes really good action movies anymore.

Ughhh I want Van Damme in this so badly. But that would be almost too epic.

That was Bruce Willis at the end. Plus, IMDB says Danny Trejo is in it. If the cast is any indication, this could be one of the most epic action movies of all time, but it could also be a great cast that's trying to cover for a terrible script.

I'm thinking there's no middle ground here. This movie is either going to be AWESOME or it's going to be a complete, unmitigated mess.

I watched Universal Soldier last week. I still have a soft spot for Van Damme.

Apparently Van Damme was originally going to be in this, but he dropped out for some reason. Damme shame.

I wanted to like the trailer more than I did.

You forgot Bruce Willis!

Shit i pretty much love the cast for all their individual action movies that i don't have to think about.

From what I've read, Willis and Schwarzenegger aren't even in it for that long. We've probably seen most of their scenes in that trailer.

Good thread. I watch quite a bit of movie trailers online, and 95% of the stuff that comes out in the theaters is complete shit. This one put the E in Epic. Can't wait til August.

Well, considering that arnold was in office while they were filming, we already know that. Li + Statham + Stallone will still be awesome though. The one line you see Arnold deliver in the trailer is pretty funny when you think about it in context of their respective careers as the two biggest action stars of their time. Arnold is busy (as governor) so he says "give this job to my friend here. he loves playing in the jungle" (reference to rambo) and walks off. In Demolition Man there was a reference to arnold having become President during the time Stallone was frozen and Stallone basically saying "wtf?" It wasn't so far off and was pretty damned funny.

according to this, Stallone asked him to be a part of the movie, but he turned it down :/

this movie is what America is all about. Unapologetic action, explosions and overall badassness ( made that word up!)

Think of what CG will be able to do in a few years. With the right impersonations, one could have all these actors in a movie while they were in their prime.

Yes but America is become pussified and perverse, so instead of Rambo and Predator, you have shit like Saw and Will Smith is what passes for an action star.
