But how was the sandwich?

@erictheobscure , yes, as previous posters have said, it was very good.

@masaccio, no Prince Markie D. wasn't there.  It was some other fat boys wearing ball caps (and drinking beer).

@Kid Nickels, you are correct.

For those who might be wondering, I didn't drip any of it on myself.

Despite jet confirming my assumption that Anaheim is a fucking wasteland of nothingness … I absolutely need to find somewhere else to eat, drink and chill aside from whatever hotel my friend will be staying in so….
has anyone been to The Blind Rabbit?

http://www.theblindrabbit.com

Gets really good reviews and sounds fun to boot!

NAMM (National Association of Music Merchants) show next week at the Convention Center. My friend's company has a booth in the show and we'll be there most of the time with little chance to venture out. But he's coming in Tuesday night so I'd like to find a close place to hang out and have some eats & drinks. That was the best I could find just googling around, but thought I'd ask anyway.

Check out The Playground in the Santa Ana Arts District. Amazing food, and a lot of other good bars nearby.

Honeycut is fun. Good drinks. DJ Jack of All Tracks spins Friday nights and plays excellent music.

lol8[1].gif Leave it to @jet for the sobering reminder that there's a bunch of twats and douche bags in OC. lol

Thank you, but we're not going "out" out per se … just spending some time catching up with a good old friend so I think we'll be ok avoiding the riff raff.

Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)
Riff Raff may or may not include this guy.

Dine L.A. is coming up and I've gone through the same thought process and reached the same conclusion I always do …. which basically involves two steps. 1) Let me check the menus, maybe there will be something worth trying that won't be over run with assholes. 2) Nope.
