Joan's on 3rd is worth hitting up for lunch, it's down the street from South Willard.

Ohhhh yeah, I know that place, a few doors down from Comme Ca. Ok, that is probably a decent spot, never been though.

Check Timezone.com and their for sale section.

Sounds like a winner. I love any variation on a croque.

Griddle is legit, and their pancakes will literally feed you for the rest of the day. The wait is beyond terrible though. Stay away on the weekends or, as mentioned, show up early.

I remember Quality (pretty much next door to SW) being a decent spot for breakfast. Their biscuits + jam are the shiznit, the rest is OK. Standard fare. Good if you are looking not to wait for a table.

Anyone have any recommendations for a tailor? Need to get some alternations done on a suit and a couple of shirts. Preferably somewhere on the Westside, between Bev Hills and Santa Monica or thereabouts. Thanks --

Try Matsuhisa

the Nobu's pale in comparison. Nobu always at Matsuhisa anyways.

Posted in an old tailor thread but could use a tailor for some Tom Ford and Band of Outsiders suiting and wouldn't really want to risk it (can go back up to Norcal) unless somebody has a good rec.

Thanks for the suggestion, I'll check it out next time!

Is there going to be another meetup soon? Because I moved into town just recently and I'm looking to make some new friends.

I'm sure something can be arranged. Welcome, by the way. What part of town did you move to?

Yes, I think her name is Marina.

Enzo Caruso in Santa Monica does very good work, but he is not cheap. He also does custom suits. I've used him to alter one of my Mahon suits as well as having a bunch of things made.

I'm in K-Town! Think I need to eventually move closer to the westside for work. What part do you live in?
