had the tasting menu at saam/bazaar last night (23-courses now). Gimmicky as expected but it was pretty fun, a few of the dishes were incredible. Not impressed by the philly cheesesteak though, surprisingly.

Highlights were the banh mi, not-your-everyday-caprese, this uni & eel thing rice thing (my favorite of the night)

His new spot is The Parish in DTLA, tried it out the other night and left feeling like a fucking beluga whale. Pretty good food and drink with a typical entourage watching ambiance. Dude definitely did some interesting shit with English food, didn't that could work but it did. I would recommend massive OD'ing on prilosec before going though, good god.

I posted this in the haircut thread in Health and Body forum, but didn't get any help.  I thought maybe some knowledgeable LA people could help me out.

So my hair is long as shit.  It's been over a year since I got it cut.  I  last got it cut at Baxter Finley on La Cienega.  They did an awesome job but when I called on Thursday and told them that I need a haircut but my hair is almost down to my shoulders, the guy on the phone seemed hesitant.  He told me to call back today and they'd have to see if anyone was available that has experience with long hair.

I know that Baxter Finley is a barbershop-style place though.  Where does a guy go to get his long hair cut? I want to keep it on the longer side too.  And I don't want to go to Supercuts or something.  Can anyone point me in the right direction?  Perhaps someone knows a place in LA in Hollywood or on the Westside where I live?

Thanks!

Call Baxter Finley and ask for Chrissy, she's the best they got there at cutting off long hair and also beard trimming/fading, make sure to tip good and tell her Sasha sent you.

Ha! I get my dome cut with Chrissy too. I gotta endorse that she is the dopest one there. I've been cutting my hair with her for more than 5 years.

If you guys haven't tried it. Baxter Protein Shampoo is legit.

Somebody rec me a few areas I can narrow down my hunt for an ongoing Mon-Thursday hotel please. Reasonably close to the airport, but decent surroundings. I'm thinking Santa Monica but I have no real idea.
