Yes, it's excellent. There's one downtown too, on 7th. I always just order the "trust me" and it's never let me down.

Yeah, that's the one I had been to but I have friends that swear that for whatever reason the SM location is better or the "best" of the locations.

It is pretty good but I'm not a fan of the scene (although there are some cute white girls in Brentwood).

Kazu- in studio city for under 150
Sushi wasabi in Fullerton for omakase in oc. Under 100 bones.
Also urasawa. . . That is like a once a year situation for a basically hood rich college student like myself. It was fucking amazing though worth every penny.

H. Lorenzo tent sale starts may 3 by the way. A lot of dbss/junya/et all gonna be marked down pretty far. Should be good.

Thanks for the replies guys.

I made reservations at Ink.

But Asanebo and Kazu now look tempting

Asanebo is amazing, you can't go wrong, not overly expensive either.

Asenobo is less of the omakase style, and has more options. If you are going to get down with someone that likes clean fish (or if you wanna see George Clooney) hit up Kazu. Both are really worth going to though, no need to limit yourself!

Also, Nnako is decent for a new take on Japanese fusion but the service sucked balls when I went . . . . And Providence is always excellent and the service is excellent, but its seafood not sushi.

Report back on INK when you get a crack.

went to ink last week. poutine was amazing, foie gras was very lovely as well. the shishito peppers dish was kind of strange, the bonito sand didn't have much bonito flavor and a few of them had the heat of jalapeños. scallops with egg gnocchi or whatever was kind of bland, at least compared to the poutine i had after it.

I'll be going to ink next Friday. Did you happen to see how much the tasting menu was? Still $70?

CityHunter, I think it was $70,75, or 85, very vague recollection.
