Zankou Chicken.

Garlic sauce is good, but the chicken is really really dry.

Versailles also had dry chicken and mediocre cuban food versus its hype it gets. I do like their Lechon Asado though.

im sorry im not just gratuitously quoting you to agree, but you are correct i hate that place.

i went there twice, and had the lamb the first time (on a coworker's suggestion) and the chicken the second time (my wife had it) and both of them were terrible . the lamb was completely terrible. the chicken was absolutely dry. my wife complained to me, so i complained to the waiter cordially, but then he took his finger and poked at the chicken and made this face like "huh wha?"

i was angered by his response, it was rude. i never went back again.

For a chain, I think Cheesecake Factory is one of the best. While I haven't tried everything on the menu, the several items I stick to are very good, and I'm always satisfied having eaten there when I decide to.
