$148-158 for TM, $157 for Acorn, as of mid May.

Which range of Thomas Mason? Silverline? Goldline? And for Acorn? I really hope you paid that much for Windsor or Imperial or you got really ripped off. You can buy fabric direct from Acorn in lengths and have it shipped to Hong Kong. You could probably buy enough fabric for three shirts in Windsor for $157.

I rushed in and foolishly had five shirts made by Peter Lee. The armholes are huge. There is so much fabric that my suitmaker laughed and said he'll need to let my shoulders out. I have big shoulders but need to have this addressed. I went with the unfused for HKD380 CMT. I also had his mother of pearl buttons for HKD40, I think. I'll head up to SSP for them myself because HKD40 is as an even bigger rip-off than the mark-up on Acorn fabric you're getting from Chan.

Peter Lee doesn't carry name brand fabric because there's no margin when you can buy it yourself.

Guys,  How do you tell if the fabric is soso, bad?

I was in HK 2 weeks ago and picked up 2 shirts from Peter and I love them.  Very airy.  I usually wear Thomas Pink shirts and they last quite long.

Are Peter's cloth too thin?  Hence so breathable?

Please let me know what I should be looking at/for when comparing his house cloths for shirts.

He's in NYC this week and I plan to go pick up half a dozen shirts.  Let me know what I should be looking for.

I do notice the button quality and how they are attached is not so great.

The fit is great!  Compared to my OTR Thomas Pink which I then get it tailored.

Let me know your thoughts and experiences guys!

The buttons aren't super but the fabric is decent. Really, the fabric is the one you choose so if you choose a poplin it's going to be thinner and if you choose a french oxford it's going to be thicker, simple really.
