for some of us, every day is april 1 and tax day is always two weeks away. Sword of John Damocleese, indeed, especially when your cheese puts on its running shoes and moves itself.

How about pretending to be a heterosexual male over the age of 15?

Too easy.

I want something that'll knock your socks off.

a gay man over the age of 15 will knock your socks off, or more likely gingerly remove them for you...

How to pull off a glorious April Fool's Day joke:

You'll need:
- One pregnant wife
- Two Facebook accounts
- Attentive Facebook friends, many of whom are pregnant, new parents, or very interested in the fact that you're having a baby.

Instructions:
- Have pregnant wife post "The doctor says everything is ok...I'll see you later" on your wall.
- A few minutes later, comment on the post with something along the lines of "I assume you mean for you and the little ones. I, on the other hand, was not there to have my heart attack treated."
- Shortly after that, post the following status update: "MrG had not prepared himself to hear the word 'fetusES.' He probably should have. Oh. Dear. Lord."

Sit back and enjoy the chaos.

LOL
I saw on my news feed that your status said something like "has completed most of his Christmas shopping early - many of you will be getting calendars. Also, you'll be receiving a red marker so that you can draw an enormous, red circle around APRIL FOOL'S!!!"
and I was thinking "that's it? That's the dumbest facking April Fool's Day joke I've ever heard. It doesn't even make sense." So I clicked on your profile to call you a dumbass, and then saw the magic that took place earlier. Well done.

Haha. I didn't even think about the fact that some people wouldn't get the reference.

The stuff that came up on Facebook is only about half of it. I was also getting phone calls, text messages, and private Facebook messages. MrsG said she got a bunch of calls and messages as well. Surprisingly few people caught it, and all but two of those who did finally catch it didn't until after they'd fallen for it and had time to reflect. I like to think it's the subtlety in my post that really sold it.

I'm quite proud of myself. It's highly likely that none of my friends will ever trust me again, but it was totally worth it.

intentional idiocy is ingenious, if it is indeed intentional.

Now you have something to look forward to when you get home. The carnage is still on my page, and I intend to leave it there so that the participants can be perpetually reminded of how much I rule.

If I worked in a company with graphic designers, I've always wanted to delete all their fonts (backed up of course) and only leave Comic Sans. Or change their default windows font to Comic Sans.

I saw that little exchange you had there MrG. and must admit...that was a good prank.
