Has anyone ever been to one of these types of conferences, specifically a chemical engineering conference. Was it useful in any way or was it a waste of time? Do you recommend going?

They are a good way to meet people in your industry. Helps for future jobs.

Thanks. Originally, my team was suppose to compete in a competition, but some things happened and we will no longer be doing that.
