Ex w/ Boyfriend always calling me. why?

I was dating this very hot chick a few years ago. She's got an amazing stripper-like body, huge D cups and a washboard stomach. Whenever she walks away my jaw drops just seeing her figure in action. Everywhere I went other guys were trying to hit on her. Anyways, the body was great, personality was terrible. I could barely stand being with her unless we were in the sack. After a few months of annoying & pleasureable moments, it ended after we went to the shore. She got drunk and I had the most annoying day in the world getting her home.

A year later we got together again for a few months and she seemed to be acting better. Maybe b/c she was 24 and acting more maturely? But I already didn't see her as a long term item, so I didn't pay much attention to her. I would literally pick her up once a week, have my way with her, then drop her off. She ended it after a few months since she met another guy.

Two years later and now she's 26 and has got a serious bf. He's already proposed to her. But she calls / texts me at least once a week. I hate stepping on other people's toes so I haven't fooled around with her although I've been very tempted. Yet she keeps calling / texting me. I cancelled on a dinner last night and she was pissed. I don't understand it? Why doesn't she just call her bf and leave me alone?

True story:

Recently been in contact through fb with a girl I went to HS with and flirted with a bit, but never got anywhere with. She's married w/kid and just got in touch because we were friends and on a school trip we got somewhat more personal. There was a (clothed) massage involved

Anyhow she basically told me that I have been her main sexual fantasy for like 12 years, and she accidentally screamed my name once during sex with one of her ex-boyfriends...

She doesn't live around here anymore, so I figure it's pretty safe to talk about it. Though I do occasionally remind her that the fantasy me is likely much better than the real me, and that she has made a pretty good life for herself without me. I do find that it's funny how I'm being put on this pedestal by a handful of ex-gf's and women I've had incedental contact with over the years, but single women who I'm interested in have little to no interest in me.

Maybe I'm doing it wrong.
