What are the options out there? Looking for a tough black pair. Nothing too fancy since they will get banged up. Up to $200... Already have a pair of real motorcycle boots I use for serious stuff, this is more for when I'm scooting around running errands and keep it relaxed.

I am thinking Red Wing GT if I can find them cheap enough, what are my other options?

seems to be nice pricing on the GTs
all the Red Wings from this seller are nicely priced

Have not ever ordered from them, however.

All my RW purchases have been thru Zapppos b/c of their easy returns..... worth the extra price as far as I am concerned.

Desert boots...just like The Man.

But seriously, combat boots or engineer boots will work. I focus my protection on my head and torso. And leave the rest to chance.

That's what I was thinking looking at the picture he posted or thinking about some of the leather soled 1000 mile boots. I want good tread on my bike boots.
