Seeking new hairstyle suggestions

Out of my girlfriend's request and my curiosity, I kept my hair long because shes wants me to get a certain style that she has in mind. My hair as it is long enough but she is right now at her parents, and I am planning to go visit said parents for the first time. So I was hoping for any suggestions on what I can do with my hair.

Please and thanks!

Also not sure if it helps but I am 6 feet and 23.

I don't have anything in mind but your face is kinda wide and roundish... if that helps narrow down the selection. If you want to keep it long then I guess just shortening the bangs would be an improvement and should look okay, but is just really simple.

Get rid of the Beatles mop top and get a basic short haircut tapered on the sides and back...go to a decent barber not a stylist. That look is good for teenagers not for a guy in his twenties unless he's an artist or pro musician. IMHO.

you look 12 in that photo. +1 to getting rid of the mop top, doesn't flatter your face too well and makes you look like you don't care.

what did your girlfriend have in mind with your haircut?

i would say try out some classic haircuts and modify it a bit, like an ivy league or something similar. in general, shorter, tapered sides have been more in style these days. and texturize the top!

The reason I didn't suggest a short hair cut is because his face is wide, so something a bit longer would look better because, in my opinion, it would do a better job "balancing" his facial features.

With that said, I think something like these would look both good AND more mature:

At the very least you need to add texture.

Its not a good look for anyone. Teenagers are just the ones stupid enough to think it looks good

LOL at Bobby Lee!!

Try the generic faux-hawk. Can't go wrong with that.
