Different strokes, I guess. Burgers to me are just burgers. Cheese, bacon, and a few topping. But I would never consider them "gourmet." And to be honest, the existences of places like Burger Bar just piss me off. Ask Roikins about his lobster burger.
But if you like them, then more for you I guess.

Hahaha, please don't make me remember that "thing." But I have to agree that I'm not a fan of slapping the name "gourmet" onto a burger. There are definitely realllllly damn good burgers out there, but they're still burgers. But "gourmet" hot dogs are in a whole different league. Haha.

Anyone with a knowledge and passion for food would know not to waste kobe beef by making it into a burger. Grinding Kobe beef into hamburger is a marketing gimmick. Not "gourmet". That being said, I do like the Bleu Ribbon burger.

I went to a Red Robin in Jersey once, it was the most disgusting "restaurant" that I have ever been to, the clientele was every stereotype that Americans have become known for. The place was dirty and the overall vibe was just horrible.
