+1.
Hell, the most popular car in Norway, the VW Golf, is 10+ from 0-62 mph. (Ignoring the GTI and R32 and whatnot, those models are superpricey in Norway. Closer to $100k, I think)
How often do you really stay at the red light, rev your engine and need to get to 60 mph in less than six seconds?

thanks for all of the advice guys. i'm incorporating a bit of it all. realized that for now the honda is fine, because i don't even need it here in boston. maybe when i graduate i'll be able to get something nicer, like the e46 or my childhood dream car, a tricked out subaru sti. i've been driving my dad's audi s4 like i'm a trackstar, but i'm sure if i was actually the owner i'd take much better care of it-- so i'd need a car with some longevity and reliability.

I've become rather fond of Volvos, NPR associations and all.

Boston streets are brutal anyways. No need to drive a nice car around there. When I lived there I saw many nice cars that looked so beat. If I ever move back there, I'd honestly buy a yaris to rock the city. Parking is a b.
