Depending on what you're selling. Craigslist is good generally (as long as you follow two basic rules: (1) local only; (2) cash & carry). SF is also good for some general items, but mostly good for clothing. For hobby items, e.g. watches, knives, guns, you're probably better off finding a good online community and contribute so you can buy/sell on there.
