Electronics

Anyone think they were better in the 80's?

Everything still looked like they were little machines, because they were. No one back then was trying to make electronics "human." The aesthetics were very deliberate, made by engineers instead of artists. Everything back then had clearly defined edges and the buttons were bulky and had a lot of give to them that felt great. Now everything is curvy, glossy, and no buttons at all is the trend.

Missing Proceed's component CD players? Or Nakamichi's cassette decks? Or Bang and Olufsen's, Project's or Michell's turntables?

Nope. I took a look at that the pic and realized every item he's carying is now inside one good cellphone.

He really shouldn't be hangning his walkman from his breast pocket as it will stretch it out and cause it to look uneven. The walkman was best clipped to one's belt under the jacket and out of sight.
