Got them in today:

So far so good, I love the way they look. Also fits my foot rather well.

I wanna get the black version now

I felt the same way when I got mine - but I'd recommend you get the brown suede instead.

The only way to solve the problem is to get them all

Myke,

I'm assuming you ordered the shoes from Northhampton? How did you determine the size? Had you tried any C&J on before for fit?

I received their catalogue and I'm thinking about ordering a pair but am suspect of my sizing. Any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Yeah, I ordered them from Bodiley's of Northampton. I wear a size 13D US and just went with the UK size equivalent of 12 E. I never tried any C&J shoes in person and took a chance, and good thing they were spot on

Usually, UK sizes are one full size down from US sizing.

^Thx fr th cnfrmtn. Hadn't realized they actually go on top of a layer of leather, I thought they went directly onto the welt.

IBJanky, any chance we can get a shot of the stiching on the sole up close. On another thread with a Dainite resole it looked like the stitching was flush with the surface rather than recessed, which would make me a little wary, despite the reassurances.

I def need some dainites for rain...

Very nice, I have my eye on a pair of brown suede Tetburys to go with my brown suede RMW's, I wear them with just about anything.

That's why I bought mine and they've performed admirably so far.

I got caught in a bad rain storm 2 days ago with my Tetbury, the shoes got soaked.
Now the surface has dryed up, but I see a ring of water marks now left on the lether, near the sole. Anyone has any idea?

BTW, I am in the same situation as the OP, and got both lether and suede boots, love them both.
