The meat I can handle but all the brands of ramen I've been able to find taste like crap. Any suggestions?

when i get home i'll take a picture of the ramen i got in the freezer section of a chinese grocery store. actually really good pork bone stuff. I've been meaning to make my own chashu, just been busy.

Technically, that's not ramen. Although, if you know where to find it, you probably know that already. Love that stuff.

You're referring to Shin Ramen, right? Really tasty (and spicy).

IMO, best ramen in the NYC metro area is at Ippudo and Santouka (in the Mitsuwa Food Court in Edgewater, NJ).

Nissin used to be my ramen of choice (not that I eat a lot of it in the first place) for years. After eating the Nong Shim brand Shin Ramyun, you can't really go back to the Nissin ones.
