Hairstyle for difficult hair

Hi. Could please recommend some hairstyles that are compatible with my caucasian/asian hair? My hair is really thick and straight. When I cut it short it tends to stick up quite a bit. I have it long in the picture below and haven't had a haircut in a while. Thank you in advance.

I would have thought thick, straight hair would be one of the most versatile hairtypes...

I totally get the anonymity thing, but honestly a full frontal face shot is probably the easiest to give you ideas off of. your face shape and proportions is probably the most important thing IMO for giving advice. you can always delete them later so far I got nothin' for you, sorry.
