My husband and I have been invited to an awards ceremony. The invitation said Black Tie. Must I absolutely wear a formal gown or could I get away with an ankle length sheath and beaded coat ensemble?

anigarl- read my blog! When an invitation reads formal it means just that. Formal attire is formal attire. Don't be that girl. Just like you wouldn't want your husband to be the guy in jeans and blazer. He need to be in a tux and you need to be the arm candy on his side....got it?
