I will be in DC next week, never been before, and would like to know if anyone has any suggestions for a few interesting (non chain) mens clothing stores there.

Sky Valet is a good shoe store in Georgetown. http://www.skyvalet1.com/

Edward Green, CJ, Loake, Alden and more. Very nice guys. Mostly retail pricing, but there were probably 50 pairs of sale shoes about 4 weeks ago including some Alfred Sargents.

There are good stores but just about all are chains.
