At the end of this episode, Troy and Abed are watching "Inspector Spacetime" , the Dr. Who spoof that was created at the start of this season.

Agreed, genius about the show is that even though there are some lackluster filler episodes i.e. Chang's cop story, they always balance out with creative and smart stories too.

Interesting thing to note from the article, this recent episode (3x4) was suppose to be 3x3...they switched it at last minute. So in the opening sequence where Britta and Annie are knocking on the door to Abed/Troy's apartment, the exchange goes like: “Didn’t they say 304?” “No, 303. I wrote it down twice.” Lot's of fan geekdom and theories on the hidden themes and foreshadowing of the timelines presented in 3x4, etc. that you guys should check out.

The producer of the show already said that this will be a dark year, probably for Jeff. As foreshadowed in this pic:

Wow. That has to be one of the top three episodes in the series for me, so many lines that I could fill a page here with hilarious quotes.  I almost felt like they rushed it a bit, this could have been a double really. 

Jeff: How old are you guys?

Troy: The question is HOW old are we....but WHEN old are we.
