Yeah, it's weird, it does look more brown on the pictures. It might just be the flash because in real life they look more red than brown.

I'm confused. You called the U.K. and ordered a sale shoe about a week and a half ago, right? I thought they didn't even ship until about a month after the sale.

I also ordered during the sale. Should I perhaps be expecting shoes soon, or did you just get very lucky?

I had a friend pick them up for me at the London store and mail them to me.

Oh, um, there's a clear, uh, defect on the right shoe there... you should, uh, send it to their customer service processing center... in Texas. PM me for the address.

Bought my first pair of EGs today from Saks while in NYC for business. Got the Ashby in the 606 last - not sure what the official color name - but its a browninsh color between medium brown and dark brown.

This was the last one left on sale in my size - $550 marked down from $1050 less 10% for opening a Saks account and I had it shipped to my home in PA to avaoid about sales tax. I think it'll be something like $505 out the door.

I'll post pics once I get it next week - but what do you think of the Ashby and what do you think of the deal?

Wonderful Shoes! I am hoping that they do look a bit more red in person.

I ordered the Chelsea in Burgundy. Wait, wait, wait.

I like your method better.

Rajesh, I'll bet you got them in Burnt Pine, great color.

wear the fervidos when you want to hang out with your buddies or spouse at night at the chic places. Beverly Hills, the Grove, rodeo drive. restaurants and hot spots. pair them up with your nice italian suit.

wear the beautiful EGs when at the board meeting, university seminar, at the museum, when being questioned by the fbi, or if you are the fbi, or anytime you want to look authoritative and striking.
those egs are just too sweet. nice second pic,the resolution of the photo is very good. i really am thinking about changing my mind and getting a pair of eg as well now. i was thinking borgioli. dilemma.

This is exactly what I was thinking. The fervidos are, what I like to call my "casual cool" shoes, whereas the EGs give off a totally different vibe. I think the shoes you wear can say a lot about you and that people actually do look at your shoes when they are making their first impression so depending on what vibe you want to give off in a particular situation you would wear a particular shoe.

Haha, if the FBI comes a knockin' should I run first to put on my EGs or should I run first to destroy the evidence?
