Mine came today in the mail today, im pretty stoked as all i have it the EF-S 18-55 Kit lens.

Just stoked, hope that okay to start a thread just to say you're exited... if not I guess a mod can delete the thread.

The good old plastic fantastic.

Be careful with the focus ring if you focus manually, more than once I caught my finger in the frame on my old Elan 7e (which had ~90% viewfinder coverage).

Yeah I couldn't find the MI for less then $150, I grabbed this at $70 New.
Focus ring is actually a step up from the kit lens, as the kit lens focus ring is the very end of the lens the part that actually comes in and out with zoom/focus.
