I was just suggested Thomas Mahon as face book friend, how did that happen? he only has about 170 friends, any one know if its a fan page of legit?Originally Posted by Wrigglez
I was suggested him as a friend too. I wanted if it is based on what you are a "fan of". For example, I am a fan of "A Suitable Wardrobe" and maybe Mahon is as well. From my experience there doesn't have to be much of a connection to get something suggested to you.

Not only what the person above me said, but Facebook also utilizes sophisticated text mining of all messages (IM, Facebook message, wall posting).
