I bought a pair of jeans from my local Gap over the weekend and they gave me four coupons good for 40% off each. They can only be used for in store purchases on any one regular priced item. The coupons are valid only on Wednesdays between March 31st and April 21st (they gave one coupon dated for each Wednesday during that period). The girl at the register said they were giving them out with every purchase.

Are they Gap-only, or BR too?

As a side note, how did people make out from this sale? Since I got a free shipping code too, I got more stuff than I got at BR all last year, four polos, one linen shirt and a pair of shoes.

Coupon reads "40% off one regularly priced item. Make that 45% off when you use your GapCard at Gap, GapKids, babyGap, or GapBody." on back of coupon: "Offer valid at Gap stores in the US only. Not valid at Gap Outlet/Factory stores, The Gap Generation Stores, or gap.com." Doesn't mention BR anywhere specifically.

I told them (and it's true) that I take a tall, which isn't available in-store. They've also offered to place the order for me directly over the phone when calling.

so they gave u 40% off over the phone?

Yeah, I have some of the same questions. I want a pair of the selvedge jeans but they don't have my size online. You think I could apply that 40% off by calling another store and having them ship it to me?

No one gave me a 40% off coupon.

The title on the front of the coupon book is "We Love Wednesdays, You Will Too..." for those who are trying to call in house.

You think I could get them to give me the code if I walk in and act like I left the book at home?
