Offered for your consideration are a few Purple Label items today...

The first item offered for your consideration is a Ralph Lauren Purple Label tie from the equestrian collection. This handsome tie is handmade with the highest standards of quality and accented with a beautiful equestrian/polo theme expressed in 100% silk. A wonderful tie, just in time for the Kentucky Derby parties and this year's polo season. Original retail $175. Offered NWT to SF members for $50.

Details include:
  • The outer fabric is handslip stitched around the perfectly fitted 100% wool interlining.
  • The slip stitch is secured at both ends with hand-sewn bar tacks.
  • Purple tip lining is 100% silk jacquard.
  • Superior fabrics are used with exclusive designs.
  • Each tie is shaped and delicately touched up by hand to maintain fullness and rounded edges.
  • A handmade self loop serves as a keeper for the narrow end of the tie.

Saving the best for last, the final item is a beautiful Ralph Lauren Purple Label blazer. Just in time for Spring, this beautiful blazer is finished in 100% cotton with a delicate brushed feel. It's extremely soft and feels like cashmere. Expertly tailored in England for refined style, this jacket is rendered in a classic light blue glen plaid from the Spring collection. This Ralph Lauren product is one of an exquisite collection of hand tailored clothing inspired by the tradition of old Savile Row, hand crafted with the finest fabrics and meticulous attention to detail. Original retail $3,495. Offered NWT to SF members for $450 reduced from $600.

Details include:
  • Three-button front, delicately rolled to two.
  • Horn buttons with original velvet Purple Label pouch and spares for the sleeves.
  • Rear dual-vented back, fully lined.
  • Flap patch pockets at the hips, single welt pocket at the left chest.
  • 100% cotton. Lining 100% rayon. Dry clean only. Made in England
  • Interior welt pockets at the chest and left hip.

Measurements:
  • Size 42 tagged, but fits like a size 41.
  • Armpit to armpit: 20.5" across
  • Shoulder to shoulder: 18" across
  • Waist: 21" as measured across
  • Jacket length: 31" as measured from the bottom of the collar
  • Sleeve length: 24" from the shoulder seam with 1" to let out

Note: I typically wear a size 40R 15.5/33 and this jacket fits me perfectly.

Is this the jacket?

I remember seeing this and thinking it was weird because I don't believe RLPL has been made in England for a long time now.

Thanks for the interest! The jacket looks fairly similar. Wish I had gotten such a great deal. Still offered at a very good price. I am seriously contemplating keeping the jacket. BTW, heard from a friend in corporate that RLPL will be coming back to the web this Fall.

Why are you even posting on this seller thread? If you don't want the coat, gtfo.
