I have a big light circle on my screen, exactly opposite that stupid Apple logo on the back.

Anyone have any ideas? Slim?

I don't see it on the "list" - but it probably falls under the category of general screen crappiness that Macbooks are notorious for. Hope you can take it in to the Mac store and exchange it, or get it fixed somewhere. If you were not a Mac person, I'd suggest popping the LCD out and seeing if it's a light bleed problem that can be solved with some blackout tape, but I dunno exactly how you'd go about doing that seeing as you have no tools.

Is this when the machine is held directly against sun light? If you turn the machine off, or turn the brightness all the way down, and hold it up against the sun or a bright light, you'll see the outline of the Apple logo on the back glowing through the screen. Perfectly normal, it's done this way so the logo will illuminate when using the machine.
