Justified (on FX) - Page 10

I was a few episodes behind, but I finally caught up today.

I like Boon, and it's pretty clear that they're setting up a juxtapositional showdown between him and Raylan. The army guys were cool, but Boon is interesting, too. I think the churn in characters is supposed to show us how Markham sees the people he uses as disposable.

That ending was damn near perfect.

I just finished it, and, yeah, that was fantastic.

Super satisfied with the finale. One of my favorite shows all time. Wish Boone would have been developed more and died worse tho.

End scene with Raylan and Boyd was perfect.

I'm left with two questions:

1. Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)
Does Boyd live out the reset of his days in prison? Does he try escaping? Does he just kill himself? I think I put them in order of probability.

2. Who was that guy that Boyd carjacked in the third to last episode? And who was he talking about in the second to last episode?

1. I think the ambiguity of what is in store for Boyd in the future was part of the enjoyment of the finale.

2. I think the dude he carjacked was some random guy. Not sure what you're referring to in that second sentence though.

Right before he kills Hagen, the guy in the car, Hagen says "does the name Hut McKean mean anything to you?" Boyd goes something like "I don't give a shit" and kills Hagen.

Oh, I don't think he was anybody we knew of. I thought that was the point, whatever possible story he could've told was not going to make a difference at all in what Boyd was going to do.
