Twin, since the jeans are unwashed, the waist will shrink. There are ways to prevent it from shrinking too much - you can search this forum and on google for various techniques. If it's really tight now, you may have gotten it too small. As far as the fit goes, it's your own preference. Personally I like the bagginess from the knees down. If those jeans fit me the way they do on you, I'd wear them with the legs bunching up down by the shoes, but I'd pair it with baggier shirts. The shirt you have on in the picture is too slim to go with those jeans, for my taste. Nice denim, by the way! Out of curiousity, your nickname being twin... you're a twin? Looks like twins in the family photo.
