Omega Speedmaster - adivce on where to buy/arbitrage - Page 2

I'd go seek out a lightly used 3572.50; IMO the most iconic Speedy. You can get one for ~$2400 USD.

Check out Timezone. Also, there are two highly reputable eBay sellers from Japan that often sell Speedys. Ask for details if this is your sort of thing.

Consider NAWCC membership $70.. / yr. Members have access to fine collectibles and minimally used pre-owned.

I travel extensively - and I find myself in Asia and Europe regularly - can anyone comment on the cheapest places to buy Omega watches (at the boutique - are the prices the same or is there any sort of price arbitrage?). Often though - I find that the US has the cheapest prices for luxury goods.

Or are the prices the same world wide?

Thanks

I know Rolexes are probably cheapest in Bahrain than anywhere else + the discount i am getting.Maybe the same could ring true for Omega. Why dont you post the cheapest price you get and i will find it for you if i can get a better deal in Bahrain,Saudi or Dubai...

i bought my planet ocean in the US when the exchange rate was in favour of australian dollars.
i think it was westime in LA.
i just told them that i know ADs have discounted it by 30% and wanted them to do the same.

I got a 25% discount on my Speedmaster. All had to do was ask.

I have seamaster professional auto with black dial These watch are OK, but not great. SInce they are heavy you have to switch them with other watches time to time, otherwise arm gets really tired and since they are relatively cheap their power reserve is probably about 24-36 hours so you either have to wind them yourself or correct the time after not wearing them for a while. And mine also loose about 5 mins it ten days which irritates a lot.
