Non-sartorial things to do in London this weekend - Page 2

Van Gogh at the RA - right opposite Jermyn Street too, should you feel like a little window shopping. http://www.royalacademy.org.uk/exhibitions/vangogh/ as per Blackhood suggestions the Southbank walk is a must (perfect on a Sunday). So much to see on this walk down the riverside. Start at Westminster and the Eye and walk the Southbank taking in the street perfomers, down to the Millenium Bridge (pop over to St Pauls if you like - it's on te opposite side of the river), back over to The Tate Modern, further down the Royal Festival Hall, the Globe, The Mayors Hall and Tower Bridge & The Tower. You will find a few pubs and restaurants too, The Real Greek is a nice little place with good food and there is a pub with a really good chippy upstairs. The Anchor. (v.nice fish n'chips) - about half way along. If you do decide to cross the bridge to St.Pauls make sure you see Gormley's Flare II & the open geo staircase. http://www.thisislondon.co.uk/standa...g-staircase.do

As much as I'd love to take in a game, the only game I'd like to be at is the Utd vs. Scouse on Sunday.

Any good pubs where I can catch the game?

And again, thanks for all of the suggestions so far.

Imperial War Museum is amazing
Satchi and Satchi gallery is great if like are into modern art
Tate Modern is also good (and free)

I would suggest the Brittish Museum but youd need a year of weekends to do it justice. I think it took me about 2 hours to move on from the Rosetta stone.

Tried a phone call to get a couple of tickets for the United game but have come up short. I'd have gone like a shot to see the Reds beat the Scousers but alas not to be. you'll appreciate the reason why. You'll know you could pretty much walk in any bar and watch that game, and a host of others. Only thing to be said is probably best not done on the Fulham Road (Chelsea fans) around the Boleyn Ground or north London in Arsenal country...
