I'm not even particularly muscular; just a little bit and not fat like most of the clothing market.

So, I'm not talking to you two. I'm talking to the many guys who clearly can't easily find pants that fit.

What is your thigh measurement?

Not entirely sure how it's done. 37.5" just under the buttocks. 34" at the midpoint to knees.

You are 5'10 167 and have 34 inch thighs?

Check how they measure their thighs and then maybe measure a pair of pants that fits you?

If you are in the Bay Area plan to visit Jack Knife Outfitters and they will make a pair of true custom and bespoke jeans for you. Prices start at $200 for Cone Mills premium selvage and go up from there for special hand loomed Japanese denim. Check out the Jack Kife thread for more details.

I searched, but couldn't find the Jack Kife thread; can you link me?

Thanks.
