Selvage for muscular people?

Thread Starter
Hey, I keep checking out different pairs of Selvage but they are all super-tight. I am wondering if there are any good pairs for people with bigger legs?

I found a pair by Dunderdon but I'm not sure about the quality/build, and I can't wait to get a pair!:

Epaulet is almost finished developing their EP's for a fuller fit. Should be great. Check the EP's denim or epaulet affiliate thread.

There are quite a few possibilites to choose from. You can check them all out in the 100 or so threads that have already covered the topic.

I have larger than average legs and what I consider an athletic build
I find that straight leg and slim straight cut jeans are the way to go, I am currently rocking a pair of SEXSC06 and love the fit, I'm looking into other jeans with a similar fit

Iron Heart. You can get it from Self Edge.

KMW 1950/2010, or APC rescues should do the trick.

I have hockey thighs and love my Rescues, but they are not roomy in the thigh; in fact the only difference I notice between the Rescue and New Standard is below the knee, where the Rescue is straight with less of a taper. The nice thing about APC denim is that it will stretch over time where it is asked to (i.e. stressed). Mine expanded about an inch in the thigh and fit perfectly. My next pair of denim will be Momotaro's 0201; if you have deep pockets you might want to check them out. You didn't need to start a new thread. This topic has been discussed ad nauseum here and elsewhere in SF.

I love how a lot of people who think they're too muscular for jeans aren't really.

Yes, it's true -- being "muscular" does not usually preclude one from wearing jeans (especially repro selvedge) and some of these people probably have a distorted self image. On the other hand, proportion and fit are legitimate concerns and some of these threads are helpful in this regard. There are some large dudes who dispense valuable feedback, exemplified perhaps by Doctor (who nails it, imo). BTW it's also pretty entertaining listening to certain people lament the fact that their xs BoO shirts are not slim enough. lol @ robertorex's signature. I don't think Zeus had a hammer... was he thinking of Thor perhaps? Too funny.
