Bmw X6

What are your thoughts on this thing? I didn't like it at first, but after seeing a couple up close it has grown on me. This seems to be about the only SUV or Sedan for that matter that I hardly ever see. I think I have came across 4-5 tops. I'm generally not a fan of SUVs, but the 400hp and its stance makes it look like a lot of fun to drive.

Many people do not like it but this is the only BMW that I could ever imagine myself owning, then again I'd have to lose interest in all other brands entirely before I even consider BMW. It's charming in an odd way on the exterior and has great (almost mischievous) presence in person but BMW interior never impressed me and frankly, they never will, their interior design mantra = everything that I hate.

I'm not a fan. I've seen several on the streets and at the dealership, but it still hasn't grown on me.

actually, the one you posted pics of has ~550 hp. Probably fun as hell to drive, but I'm not sold on the looks. Any pics of the interior?

Either buy an SUV or buy a 5 wagon/GT. This thing has none of the benefits of either.

The car can't compete with real SUVs like Range Rover, and it's a big, heavy-ass version of a 5 door BMW.

I was driving by a Wal-Mart Friday with a co-worker when he asked me to drop hi off at the door to pick something up. As I circled the parking lot I noticed an X6 with the trunk/tailgate wide open. I pulled in to a spot and watched for about 15 minutes (my co-worker is a slow shopper) while it poured rain before the owner came out. A middle aged soccer mom walked up, closed it and drove away. Some people just amaze me.

I think it looks like something straight out of Avatar. Generally a big fan. Looks horrible in red, though.
